Ms. Bert is an Executive Producer who also specializes in
Programming Development. She is a Director, Producer and Writer with 19 years experience working for some of the most
respected networks, companies and individuals in the business.
Victoria has created, directed and produced some
of the most cutting edge and innovative programming. She is a prolific producer comfortable managing a staff, producing
in the control room, shooting in the field, writing and editing. Her talents for writing, casting, and directing translate
into strong, character driven visually stimulating programming that is both captivating and cutting edge.
Ms. Bert began her career in 1988. She joined the award winning Production Company New Screen Concepts to work on renowned
pediatrician and child psychiatrist T. Barry Brazelton’s reality TV show “What Every Baby Knows”.
She went on to work for “A Current Affair” and spent three years sharpening her interview and writing skills producing
human interest, criminal investigations stories, celebrity interviews. A native New Yorker,
she produced for three years at WNYW on the Emmy award winning morning show “Good Day New York”. She has produced
for Comedy Central’s Emmy winning parody News program “The Daily Show” and the Food Network’s lifestyle
show “In Food Today.” After leaving the Food Network Victoria went on to produced sharp stylized long-format pieces
for 20th Century Fox’s Network newsmagazine show “Fox Files” and was picked by Roger Ailes, then the Chairman
and Chief Executive officer of The Fox News Channel, to produce Rob Nelson live late night talk show “The Full Nelson”.
After Fox News she went to produce for CBS News and “The Saturday Early show” before stepping out on her own to
produce reality TV. She has directed and produced national television commercials for a fortune five hundred corporation and
produced shows for BBC, Food Network, TLC, VH1, MTV, PBS, CBS, E! Entertainment Network and MSNBC.
In 2005, she joined Al Roker Entertainment as a Series Producer and was promoted to Vice President of Development
and Production where she oversaw the day to day production and operations, developed talent and pitch and developed documentaries,
original series and reality programming for the company. In late 2006, Victoria
began working as a Development Executive and Producer with the multi-award winning Chatsby Films Inc, and Four Seasons Productions
International Inc, to develop and produce film; web; digital and Television projects, as well as Executive Produce, direct, or
developed programming and generate interest for each the companies projects.
She has worked in conjunction with Four Seasons
International Productions on a documentary on her favorite jazz singer: Nina Simone, told through her
daughter Simone eyes, as well as other film, television and documentary projects. Victoria has also Directed for
RDF Media on ABC's highly rated Wife Swap series and developed TV shows for Optomen Media. To date, she continues
to contribute to the business in ever evolving roles. She recently wrote and executive produced
legal biographies for people suffering with brain trama injuries (BTI). Currently she is working with Terraform
films and is getting ready to embark on a different aray of new projects. Ms. Bert graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelors Degree in Communications. She also
studied acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory; ballet and piano at Harlem of the Arts; and screenwriting at NYU School of Continuing
Professional Studies. School
